I brought my beer box to share with one of the few friends whose face I still see during the pandemic. The 8.5 beers we drank apiece, over as many hours, is merely ludicrous, we reasoned, not actually dangerous. It’s a Fellini movie in beer form. (The box originally had 18 beers, but I drank one already on Thursday: Virtual beer fests allow for cheating.)
