Pennsylvania’s over-order premium will remain at $1 per hundredweight through March 31, 2021.
The state Milk Marketing Board announced the decision Wednesday. At the board’s Sept. 2 hearing, most industry-group testifiers asked that the payment remain constant during this period of market uncertainty.
The over-order premium is paid to dairy farmers on fluid milk produced, processed and sold in the state. It includes a fuel adjuster on top of the $1 premium.
