“We had a warehouse, our drivers are employees, and we have trucks,” he said. “That’s it: the synergies that are available to me, that are not available to others, made this an interesting idea. I didn’t have to re-create the wheel. I had to make significant investments in specific types of vehicles, but I didn’t have to hire a ton of employees.”
