Virtual

The Bloody Mary Festival, Holiday Edition: 1 p.m. Jan. 1. This annual salute to the classic Bloody Mary has gone virtual. Order a festival kit ($82.50) by Dec. 7, and a box of small-batch Bloody Mary mixes from around the country will be shipped to each ticket holder before the event. Each box contains enough mix for 12 cocktails each, plus garnishes — hello, pepperoni straws and Dill Pickle Rim Salt — and swag. (You supply the booze.) On New Year’s Day, join the virtual festival to hear from the makers behind each Bloody Mary mix, listen to the judging panel and cast your vote for the people’s choice winner — and, of course, toast the new year. www.thebloodymaryfest.com

Duckhorn Vineyards Virtual Events: Host the holidays like a pro at 4 p.m. on Dec. 11. Canvasback Winemaker, Brian Rudin will present the best of the estate’s offerings while Chef Natalie Niksa of La Saison, Napa Valley shares extravagant hors d’oeuvres and dessert recipes.  www.duckhorn.com/Events/Calendar

Host a Virtual Wine Tasting Holiday Party: Beringer Winery will handle all the logistics. They will invite your guests, ship the tasting kit and host the tasting. Pick your favorite wines or choose one of their popular kits. www.beringer.com/en/virtual-tastings.html
