The year 2020 is finally exiting and Hamm’s Beer believes that after such a rough year, everyone deserves a break, according to a press release from the Molson Coors Beverage Co.
So, just in time for National Bacon Day (Dec. 30) and the making – and breaking – of New Year’s resolutions, Hamm’s Beer has put together the Hammergency Kit. This broken-resolution, preparedness kit is filled with pure joy and “hamminess.”
“After this past year, we could all use a little break from the pressure of resolutions and just enjoy ourselves, and that’s what we’re all about over here at Hamm’s,” said Trisha Bakshi, marketing manager of Hamm’s Beer. “We made the Hammergency Kit for some tried-and-true indulgence.”
Consumers can enter for a chance to win one of 50 Hammergency Kits by visiting the Hamm’s Beer website. The promotion will close at midnight Jan. 13.
Each kit comes with a Hamm’s custom-branded cooler, five pounds of ready-to-cook bacon, and a six-pack of Hamm’s beer (in the form of a $15 pre-paid card).
According to official rules, no purchase is necessary and is only open to legal residents of the 50 U.S. states and DC that are 21 years or older. Read all the official rules, including how to enter, here.
For those not familiar with Hamm’s Beer, it was founded in 1865 as the Theodore Hamm Brewing Company in St. Paul, Minn., after Hamm, a German immigrant, inherited the Excelsior Brewery from a friend.
It became the “fifth largest brewery in the nation by the 1950s.” It’s ownership has changed several times, including the Olympia, Stroh and Miller brewing companies, and is now owned by Molson Coors Beverage Co.
