An Australian woman became a viral sensation for her daring effort to rescue two beer kegs being swept out to sea during stormy weather on Monday.
The woman sprang into action as the suds were floating away from a local surf club in the Queensland city of Currumbin.
Footage captured by shows her falling in the rough surf just before grabbing a hold of one the kegs.
“There’s nothing like the ocean … it’s pretty spectacular,” the woman later told the news outlet.
The rough seas were caused by a slow moving storm off Australia’s southeast coast, which also battered the area with heavy rains and high winds, the report said.
