MONTICELLO, Ind. (WPTA21) - The new owners of Indiana Beach Amusement & Water Park Resort have announced another first: A wine, beer and spirits event set for this September.
The theme park is calling it "Hops & Coaster Drops."
Visitors will sample from dozens of regional vendors -- including Fort Wayne craft breweries Trubble Brewing and Summit City Brewerks.
"A staggering 50+ breweries, wineries and distilleries will be placed throughout the park offering unlimited samples WHILE you enjoy the rides and the games," operators said in their announcement.
There will be no general operation of the park that day -- only those with tickets to the 21-and-older event will be admitted. Gates will open at 2 p.m.
Live music is scheduled from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. in the Sky Bar.
It's scheduled for Sept. 11, and tickets ($50 now through July 11) are available online at HopsAndCoasterDrops.com.
