JOB SUMMARY: 

Half Acre Beer Co. is looking for a brewery Sales Rep to cover the North and Northwest Chicagoland suburbs.  We are looking for a motivated, organized and relentlessly positive individual to join our team, tentatively starting on 7/12/2021.  The primary duties will be managing and developing an account base in this territory. 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Work to secure placements and displays at accounts that are appropriate to the brewery and beers in both the on-premise and off-premise 

  • Work closely with the distributor reps you are assigned to be the main point of contact with for the brewery 

  • Be willing and able to drive throughout a very large territory to rep Half Acre  

  • Track daily activities and organize through Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software 

  • Develop and execute a range of market and account events and programming 

  • Out in the market, pumped on behalf of Half Acre throughout the week with some night and weekend work required

  • Valid driver’s license  

  • A working, street legal automobile (some car allowance provided)   

  • Ability to work nights and weekends  

  • Must be over 21 years of age, because beer 

BENEFICIAL EXPERIENCE: 

  • Experience selling beer at a distributor or supplier is a plus 

  • Computer proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Teams) 

  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is preferred  

  • 2-3 years sales experience required
