Avon Lake Beer Fest is back again this summer.
The annual event will run from 1 to 7 p.m., Aug 28, according to Beer Fest organizers.
Happening at Miller Road Park in Avon Lake, the summer festival will feature local breweries, wineries, craft beer, an array of cocktails, local food trucks, vendors and live music, the organizers said.
Favorite breweries including Great Lakes Brewing Company, Thirsty Dog, Fat Head's, Wild Ohio and more will be in attendance, according to the full list online.
With the cancellation of the event last year due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, enthusiasm and demand for this year's event is at an all-time high, according to Tracey Corbo, president-elect of the Avon Lake Athletic Boosters.
“We are thrilled to bring our extended community back together again in a fun and safe event,” Corbo said. “As one of the area’s first large-scale events in over a year, it commands a celebration of this magnitude offering extensive beer gardens, live musical performances, food and games.”
The one-day festival at 33760 Lake Road, will feature 14 Northeast Ohio breweries and 28 different beers for patrons to try along with live music and loads of activities.
