Yuengling Beer has announces its official Texas launch date

Yuengling, the beloved East Coast beer brand that recently set up production in Fort Worth, has officially announced its Texas arrival date. The beer will be available on grocery and liquor store shelves starting August 23. It’s the first statewide launch for the 192-year-old beer brand, and the first outside of Yuengling’s 22-state East Coast portfolio. Yuengling’s recent move to North Texas signals the start of an expansion that will eventually see the Pennsylvania brand’s beers available in more Western states.

H-E-B announces a third store for North Texas

Just last week, H-E-B broke ground on two new stores in North Texas, a region known for his dearth of the beloved Texas grocery store. Now, the chain has announced a third new store for the area, to be located in McKinney, according to KDFW Fox 4. Details on the McKinney store, which will be located on the corner of Custer Road and Eldorado Parkway, were scant, but the store is expected to open in Spring 2023. The two other new stores, in Plano and Frisco, are slated to arrive in fall 2022.

Brand new wine bar brings bottles and brunch to Oak Cliff

A new bar, set to open in August, will bring a variety of wines and “chef in the garden” dining events to Oak Cliff. Beckley 1115 is a project from chef Sharon Van Meter, who also runs the event space 3015 at Trinity Groves. Her new project will go into the spot vacated by restaurant Victor Hugo, which closed in May due to the coronavirus. The bar will offer a variety of wines, from inexpensive glasses to splurge-worthy bottles perfect for a celebration, Culturemap reports. The restaurant will also offer lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. One new addition will be an edible garden, which will allow Van Meter to host chef-driven wine dinners using ingredients grown on site.
